This weekend in Tallahassee...

North Florida Food and Wine Festival
This year’s event is being held at the beautiful University Center Club’s 6th floor Osceola Grill and outdoor terraces overlooking Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium. More than 300 wines will be featured – many from the “reserve” or “single-vineyard” category. All proceeds from the festival go directly to the Dedman School of Hospitality to support educational programs.

Pumpkin Festival
Live music, all you can eat pancake breakfast, face painting, pumpkin decorating, pony rides, pony painting, black smith demonstrations, a bull ride, costume contests for children, adults, and pets, plus much, much more. There will be all types of food vendors, crafts, jewelry, pottery, antiques, and artwork. Visit the pumpkin patch to purchase your favorite pumpkini proceeds, in part, are donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

TREK Breast Cancer Awareness Ride (Sunshine Cycles)
Saturday October 8th @ 10 AM

Please join us for our 6th Annual Ride as we ride to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention, screening, treatment and to help fund a cure. Great prizes, goodie bags for pre-registered riders, and refreshments provided!

Chrome Divas of Tallahassee 10th Annual Breast Cancer Poker Run
Sunday October 9th

Registration is at 9am at Capital City Harley-Davidson. Blessing of the Bikes at 9:15am by the Christian Motorcyclists Association. First bike out at 9:30am; last bike out at 10:30am. Last stop at K&K Fish Camp. Last bike in at 1:30pm. Cost is $15 per rider, $10 per passenger, and $5 for an extra hand. Lunch will be provided by TBA. There will be live music, a full bar, 50/50 drawing, auction, and door prizes. All proceeds benefit TMH's A Woman's Place.
